Thinking of Spring: Everything you need to know about seeds

Learn about seed starting, seed selection, and seed saving at St. Helens Public Library. This program is being held in partnership with Oregon State University and is free to anyone interested. It will include topics such as hybrid versus heirloom seeds, good planting techniques, and seed germination problems.

St. Helens Public Library Adopts New Services, Fees for 2018

St. Helens, Ore. - The St. Helens Public Library is adopting a new set of services and fees in 2018 to increase community access to the Library.

In 2016, the St. Helens Library Board worked with a library consultant on a strategic planning process to establish long-term goals and a five-year dynamic service plan for the Library. This process was partially funded by a grant from the Ford Family Foundation and involved local educators, community members, the St. Helens Library Board, and Library staff.

ST. HELENS PUBLIC LIBRARY BOOK CLUB

St. Helens, Ore. – Join the St. Helens Public Library Board as they launch a new book club where each participant gets to decide what book he or she reads. The next book club meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 11, at 7 p.m. inside the St. Helens Public Library.

Make It! LEGO(R)

Visit the Library for unstructured, drop-in LEGO play time with our growing collection of donated LEGO(R) sets.  Duplo sets are available for younger children.  Come create with us!  All ages welcome.

Family Dance Party

Back by popular demand!  Children ages 2-5 and their caregivers are invited to wiggle, shimmy, and shake with us at this library dance party!  Learn some cool new moves and try out our scarves and shakers to take your dancing to the next level.

Preschool Storytime

In this program for three-to-five-year-olds and their caregivers, we pair stories, songs, and dances with scientific inquiry and artistic expression in order to support children's development and growth -- and have fun together!

Toddler Storytime

Toddler Storytime

Songs, stories, dances, wiggles, and more for two-and-three-year-olds and their caregivers!  Storytime is designed to support early brain development, language acquisition, and motor skill growth.   Stay afterward for free play and socializing.

Baby Storytime

Caregivers with children ages six months to two years are invited to join us for stories, fingerplays, songs, bounces, tickles, and other activities that support early brain development, language acquisition, and motor skill growth!
