Boards and Commissions

All members of these boards and commissions are appointed by the City Council and serve at its pleasure. Click on the links to the right for more information on each Board and Commission.

Submitting a Grievance Alleging Violation of Public Meetings Law
St. Helens meeting bodies, including the City Council and all boards and commissions, are subject to Oregon's Public Meetings Law (PML). Violations of the PML should be reported through the grievance process outlined by state law and the Oregon Government Ethics Commission (OGEC). To report a violation of the PML by a St. Helens meeting body, submit a written grievance statement to the City Recorder's Office by email at cr@sthelensoregon.gov, by mail, or in person during regular business hours (8:30am-12pm & 1-5pm) to:

Once received, the City will initiate the process as outlined by the OGEC (see link above).
