Take the St. Helens Broadband Assessment Survey Today
If you haven’t already, please complete the broadband survey for your residence and your business. With funding available to expand and improve broadband services, now is the time to ask, “Is my internet today going to be acceptable for the next 20 years?” Now is the time to get better speed and service.
Does your current broadband internet service in St. Helens meet your current and future needs? This survey is for the City of St. Helens and is an essential step in securing future funding to build a fiber optic network so that every residence and business has high-speed internet connectivity.
Would faster, more reliable and more competitively priced broadband help your family, household or business? Well, here’s the chance to tell the city of St. Helens how – click the eCheckup buttons above.
Take 20 minutes to complete eCheckup broadband assessment – we know your time is valuable and your investment in completing the eCheckup will help St. Helens use the information to innovate and provide digital infrastructure that gets to the “Last Mile”.
Have your voice heard to get local control, high speed, stable internet to your premise as broadband is being built out in Oregon.
Schools and Parents
How was the experience your children – and you – had during online school and hybrid learning? The past 2 years has shown us that learning extends beyond the classroom, but learning from home is only possible if you have the internet to do so. It’s also shown us how limited we can be working from home when our kids are online.
Did you Know?
Consumers with broadband internet at home save (on average) more than $7,000 per year. For example, broadband enables real-time money management (cancel/change subscriptions), reduces banking fees and bill paying costs, results in higher savings through enrollment in automated savings and emergency fund deposits, and it allows for greater shopping and cost comparisons and to search out digital deals and coupons.
Did You Know?
Without robust broadband in St. Helens, residents and business can’t take advantage of existing and emerging economic opportunities. For example, there is growing awareness that all jobs are “tech jobs,” requiring at least a basic level of digital awareness, aptitude and experience with devices, programs and interfaces to effectively function in the workplace.
Thank you!
The broadband assessment is the first step to documenting demands and needs that may qualify our city for state and federal funding. Help St. Helens be competitive for this funding by completing the survey today.
