Finance
Finance has the fiduciary responsibility to safeguard the City’s financial assets and manage them in accordance with the generally accepted accounting and financial management principles.
General Functions of the Finance Department

Budget: Complete annual City budgets for review and approval of the City’s Budget Committee, City Council, and monitor for compliance and performance. Also completes the Urban Renewal Agency review and approval for the City's Urban Renewal Agency Budget Committee, Urban Renewal Board, and monitor for compliance and performance.

Treasury: Provide cashiering, investments, banking, debt administration, collections, accounts payable, payroll, and financial forecasting/modeling services.

Manages Utility Billing for Water, Sewer, and Storm accounts.

Financial Reporting: Annually audited financial reports in compliance with local, state and federal regulations
