Budget Committee Public Meeting Notices
Budget Committee Public Meeting Notices
The Budget Committee meets when convened in the City Council Chambers. The Budget Committee includes the City Council and five city residents to review and approve the annual spending plans submitted by the Budget Officer.
When the Budget Committee meets to review and discuss the proposed budget, a legal notice is required to be sent to the public, allowing advanced notice of the meeting, and a chance to provide public comment. These requirements encourage public participation in the budget-making process.
These notices will be sent to the media and this webpage will contain all these notices. The agenda and separate meeting notice will be emailed to City Council members, City boards and commissions members, and a mass email distribution list a week before the scheduled meetings.
If you would like to be on the mass email distribution list or if you have any questions or concerns, please contact Accountant II Jamie Edwards at jedwards@sthelensoregon.gov or 503-366-8210.
