Services Provided by the Engineering Division:

Our core services include:

  • Project Design and Management
    Planning, designing, managing, and inspecting construction projects that support City utilities and infrastructure systems.
  • Development Review and Inspection
    Reviewing and regulating public infrastructure associated with private developments, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Infrastructure Planning
    Supporting long-term infrastructure needs through master planning, data collection, analysis, and strategic improvements.
  • Records Management
    Maintaining and updating official records, including as-built drawings, construction plans, and other record documents associated with public infrastructure projects.
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Mapping
    Managing the City’s GIS database and AutoCAD base maps to support accurate spatial data and mapping resources for water, sewer, storm, facilities, and streets.
  • Right-of-Way Permit Administration
    Overseeing and issuing permits for any work or activity within the public right-of-way to ensure compliance with City standards.
  • Public Improvement Oversight
    Reviewing construction plans, issuing public improvement permits, and inspecting the construction of public infrastructure associated with private developments.
