Meet the Makerspace: 3D Printed Custom Dice

Join us in the Makerspace for interactive, project-based programs to help you get familiar with our available equipment. In this class, we'll 3D print customized, functional dice! Use them for tabletop RPGs, replace a missing piece from your favorite game, or come up with something never-before-seen.

Join us for drop-in hours in the Makerspace! Drop-in hours are perfect for exploring what the space has to offer, working on a project, consulting with staff, and repairing items using the tools we have available.

St. Helens Public Library Book Club

Live in person and online!

Join us to discuss your favorite book on this month's theme: something green! Celebrate spring, st. Patrick's day, renewable energy, or bring in a book with a green cover!

Pick anything you like: fiction, autobiography, biography, poetry, graphic novel, or anything else!

Join us in the Library or on Zoom as we come together to share our thoughts about each of our chosen books and authors.  We look forward to hearing if you would recommend your selection!

Homeschool Hangout

Families who homeschool are invited to the Auditorium at the Columbia Center for a special storytime and social hour! Homeschooled children of all ages are welcome and are encouraged to bring a favorite book to share.

This event takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

You do not need a St. Helens Public Library card to participate.

St. Helens Writers Guild

The St. Helens Writers Guild is an association of local St. Helens and Columbia County, Oregon area writers. Membership is diverse, covering all genres. Some members are published, some are seeking publication, many write for personal enjoyment, while there are still others who simply enjoy writing and the company of writers.

Membership is open to persons of all ages. Meeting activities include time for sharing of work, writing practice exercises and other presentations.
