Exploring a variety of imaginative themes, Nathalia and her dynamic ensemble paint a world of musical colors by fusing popular styles with traditional Latin American sounds and rhythms. From start to finish, her catchy melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and musical stories will have families singing, dancing, and even learning a little Spanish in this exciting multicultural experience! Dolly Parton's Imagination Library 5-Year Celebration

Join the St. Helens Public Library and United Way of Columbia County at 10:30 a.m. on June 8th as we celebrate the 5-year anniversary of Columbia County's participation in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library! We'll have a story, craft, and cake to celebrate this wonderful FREE early learning program.

If you are a beginner, struggling, or just need a refresher course, this workshop is for you. If you already have a beginning project going or haven't crocheted in years and need a few hints to get back in the swing, join us! Michele will help you find the technique that is most comfortable for you.

STEAM Zone: Origami and Papercraft

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Join Mx. Aryn in the Makerspace for crafts, science experiments, and more! First Wednesdays from 3pm to 4pm in the Makerspace.

In this class we'll explore origami and papercraft. Come learn how to fold paper into animals, geometric shapes, and more! We'll use math, measuring, and creativity to make exciting creations.

Ages 8 - 12. (10 spots available, first come first served.) This program is free and you do not need a St. Helens Public Library card to participate.

For this meeting we'll be exploring the world of 3D pens. Make your doodles come to life! Learn how to use our 3D pens to create shapes, structures, and even small figures.

CANCELED - LEGO Free Play

Visit the Library for unstructured, drop-in LEGO play time with our growing collection of donated LEGO sets. DUPLO sets are available for younger children. Come create with us! Ages 2-17. Children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

This event takes place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month.

You do not need to be a resident of St. Helens, or need a St. Helens Public Library card to participate in LEGO Free Play.
