City of St. Helens Opens Bi-Annual Grant Process for Local Non-Profits
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 6, 2022
St. Helens, Ore. – The City of St. Helens occasionally receives requests for funds from non-profit organizations to assist in accomplishing the mission of the organization. The City Council understands that supporting the needs of local organizations helps support the St. Helens community, and the Council does its best to accommodate reasonable requests.
To create a more structured approach to awarding funds, the St. Helens City Council created a bi-annual (twice yearly) application process to accept funding requests from local non-profits. The application cycle opens once in the summer and once in the winter. Only local non-profit organizations qualify for funding consideration.
The winter application process is now open. The deadline to apply is February 7, 2022, at 5 p.m. An application is available on the City’s website at https://www.sthelensoregon.gov/forms.
Award notifications will be made after the Council reviews the requests in late February. If you have any questions about the application or award process, please contact City Recorder Kathy Payne at kpayne@sthelensoregon.gov or call 503-366-8217.
