Friends of Parks Volunteer Groups
"Friends of" Park Groups
There is no better way to get involved then on your time and doing something that you truly are passionate about. "Friends of" groups provide volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups to take an active role that directly contributes to the beautification of our local parks and trails. Volunteer opportunities are always available and the City is here to help support your efforts.
Whether you are an individual, business, faith-based group, school club or just a group of friendly neighbors who want to help; we welcome you to join or create a "Friends of" group for your local park and help the City maintain the beauty of our outdoors.
Current "Friends of" groups are listed below with contact information if you wish to participate or join. If you do not see a park or trail listed, that means it is available to start your own group if you would like. Please see the brochure that outlines the City's information and policies and directions on how to start your own "Friends of" park group. There are no minimum of maximum number of hours or age to get started today!
Please note, that the names of people are community members and not employees. They are listed here to contact if you are interested in volunteering in the specific parks & areas. For any regular maintenance requests or issues, please contact our Parks Office
