Parks Utility I

The City of St. Helens Public Works Department seeks a full-time Parks Utility I to perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and operation of park and recreation buildings, grounds, open spaces, and parks.
Minimum Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience which demonstrates the knowledge and experience to perform the work. Some knowledge of equipment, materials and supplies used in building and grounds maintenance and minor repairs.
Special Requirements: Must have a valid state driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

The position offers a base wage scale of $3,230 (Step 1) to $3,924 (Step 5) and an excellent benefits package. This is a union covered position.
