Intermittent Closures at McCormick Park for Tree Removal
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 20, 2018
St. Helens, Ore. – McCormick Park will be closed intermittently in late August and early September as hazardous tree removal takes place. Due to several consecutive years of high temperatures and drought during the summer, there has been extensive damage to a number of trees in the park. Damaged trees will be felled and removed for the public’s safety.
Tree removal will begin on Friday, August 24, and continue, weather permitting, until the work is complete.
