Grey Cliffs Waterfront Park
Park description
The site is located where River street dead-ends into a two-level cliff area. The lower level of the park contains the parking lot, and a flat, grassy viewing area with a path that leads to the riverfront access. The upper level is a flat, grassy pet off-leash area situated on a bluff, next to a cliff of basalt. Amenities include picnic tables, benches, riverfront access, fishing, overlwitook viewing areas, a historic plaque, fish statue and bike rack and restrooms.
Parking
Parking is available with in a paved lot at the entrance of the park at the end of River Street.
future plans
In the 2015 Parks Master Plan, Grey Cliffs Waterfront Park was identified to have future upgrades when funding or grants become available. Future updates include:
- Fishing pier that is handicap accessible (est. $75,000)
- Covered Picnic Shelter with utilities (est. $50,000)
- Sprinkler system installation (est. $1,500)
