We'll have mini-zines, 3D pens, a community art project, LEGO building, the last chance to enter our bookmark design contest, demonstrations by SHREC 5450 (the St. Helens High School robotics club) and students from the St. Helens High School rapid prototyping class, and more! All ages.

Children ages 2-5 and their families are invited to wiggle, shimmy, and shake with us! Use our scarves and shakers to take your dancing to the next level!

Visit the Library for unstructured, drop-in LEGO play time with our growing collection of donated LEGO sets. Duplo sets are available for younger children. Come create with us! All ages.

In this program for three- to five-year-olds and their caregivers, we pair stories, songs, and dances with scientific inquiry and artistic expression in order to support children's development and growth -- and have fun together!

Toddler Storytime

Songs, stories, dances, wiggles, and more for two- and three-year-olds and their caregivers! Storytime is designed to support early brain development, language acquisition, and motor skill growth. Stay afterward for free play and socializing.

Caregivers with children ages six months to two years are invited to join us for stories, fingerplays, songs, bounces, tickles, and other activities that support early brain development, language acquisition, and motor skill growth! Stay afterward for free play and socializing.

Free Wi-Fi Hotspots Available for Checkout at St. Helens Public Library

St. Helens, Ore. – People with a St. Helens Public Library card can now enjoy free wireless internet access at home or on the go thanks to a new mobile hotspot program launched by the Library.

The St. Helens Public Library has ten mobile hotspot devices available for patrons to check out. Once the device is turned on, patrons can enjoy free access to Wi-Fi for up to 21 days until the device is due back at the Library.

Library of Things

Library of Things items checkout for twenty-one (21) days and cannot be renewed.  There is a limit of three items at a time.  To checkout one must have an adult level card.  We’re sorry but at this time juveniles and passport card holders are not able to checkout items from the Library of things.
