St. Helens Commission Hosts New Art Chats in 2018
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 29, 2017
St. Helens, Ore. - The St. Helens Arts & Cultural Commission (ACC) is seeking community feedback about a new conversation project that the Commission plans to launch in 2018. Arts, Coffee, & Conversation will be a monthly opportunity for the St. Helens community to speak casually with a rotating group of ACC members about various topics related to art and culture in St. Helens.
The meetings are open to everyone and will be kid-friendly. In order to be accessible to as many community members as possible, the ACC plans to change the date and time of the meeting each month.
The ACC’s Outreach Subcommittee has created a short online survey to gather feedback regarding preferred days, times and topics for the meetings. A link to the survey is available on the ACC’s website at www.ci.st-helens.or.us/bc-acc or directly at https://tinyurl.com/SHACC-ACC. The community has until Wednesday, January 31 to complete the survey.
Meeting locations will rotate between local businesses. Business owners interested in becoming a participating location should contact ACC Commissioners Jenn Farrington (jenn@jennfarrington.com, 415-786-3830) or Leticia Juarez-Sisson (lety@artisticcommunicationspr.com, 559-307-5376).
Once the survey has closed and the feedback is reviewed, the ACC will announce the first meeting date through a press release, on their website, and on the City’s social media accounts.
