Utility Billing Statement Software Issue February 1, 2025
We have become aware of a software issue impacting some City of St. Helens utility billing customers' ability to make an online payment. This is currently only affecting customers who received an electronic statement for the current billing period with a due date of February 10, 2025.
Customers who received an electronic statement are currently unable to pay their utility bills online. If you received a hard copy of your utility bill, this does not impact you and you should be able to pay your bill online.
We are working with our software company to resolve this issue as soon as possible. We anticipate that your online billing statement will be corrected by early next week. We apologize for this inconvenience.
In the meantime, if you are signed up for auto pay AND you receive an electronic statement only, your auto payment may be delayed in processing.
If you have any concerns regarding your utility bill, you can call our utility billing division Monday through Friday starting at 8:30 a.m. at 503-397-6272, option 1, then option 0.
We will provide an update once this issue is resolved. Thank you for your patience, and we again apologize for the inconvenience.
