Tales with Tails: How To Make Your Stories Wag!
Get those stories to jump off the page and have a life of their own! This lively workshop will teach you the art of storytelling using multicultural folktales. You will have a chance to practice performing and build your skills as an expressive, animated speaker.
Becoming a storyteller will enhance your natural expression, widen your physical animation, and sharpen your improvisational skills. Learn how to really connect with your audience, characters and imagination as you free your internal actor...be a storyteller!

Rosemary Scott Vohs is a faculty member at Western Washington University where she teaches courses in public speaking and storytelling. As a performance storyteller and narrator, Rosemary is frequently featured at festivals, school arts programs and musical events. She is also an inspirational speaker and communication consultant working with educators, authors and business professionals on improving speaking performance and interpersonal communication skills. Rosemary has served as Washington State liaison for the National Storytelling Network, chair of the American Folklore Society's Aesop Prize award committee, co-chair of the National Storytelling Conference, and producer of the Bellingham Storytelling Festival. www.wwu.edu/storytelling
