Genial Genealogists
Monday, December 4, 2023 - 6:30pm
This month there are two topics we're hoping to look at.
First, we’ve been meeting since February 2018. Is Genial Genealogists something you want to continue to do? Why or why not? What about the programs what is good or what needs changing? For example, I have an idea for a series next year but would like your input on it and any other ideas and needs for future programs.
Second, I thought we could consider the impact national and international events have on us and our memories of holidays are celebrated. As part of that, foods and traditions are closely linked especially during holidays. Whether your holidays are weeks long festivals or specific days, how has celebrating these holidays influenced your knowledge of your cultural heritage? Do you have foods that are must haves? Do these foods hold suggestions about our past?
