Bag Share Project interest meeting
Tuesday, January 14, 2020 - 3:30pm
On January 1st, 2020 House Bill 2509 banned the use of plastic bags in Oregon. The St. Helens Public Library Bag Share Project gets together each month to sew reusable cloth bags. These bags are then given out to library patrons to borrow freely as an alternative to plastic and paper bags. We hope this will encourage our patrons to use re-usable bags both inside and outside the library.
We are having an interest meeting on the 14th from 3:30-4:30
Want to participate? Come sew with us on third Thursdays in the Armstrong Room! Want to contribute but can't come to meetings? We are always accepting donations of fabric, thread, and re-usable bags you no longer need. Or, if you'd like, sew your own bags at home to donate!
