St. Helens Police Department Hosts Class for Parents on Internet Safety for Children and Teens

St. Helens, Ore. - The St. Helens Police Department invites the community to attend a free course on children and teen internet safety. The class will be taught by St. Helens officers and is geared toward parents interested in learning about online safety, the latest trends in hidden apps, and legal guidelines.
The internet landscape is constantly changing, and parents can feel overwhelmed and confused about how to keep their kids safe while online. St. Helens officers trained in the latest technology will offer parents useful information about actions they can take. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask officers questions.
The course is being hosted on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Columbia Center (Library) auditorium, 375 S. 18th Street, St. Helens.
