St. Helens Police Arrest Man Indicted on Charges of Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse

St. Helens, Ore. - On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, a Columbia County grand jury indicted Isaac Reynolds, 36, of St. Helens on 20 counts of Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse in the First Degree. Following the indictment, St. Helens officers arrested Reynolds at approximately 4:24 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15.

Reynolds’ indictment is the result of information received by the St. Helens Police Department alleging that Reynolds was in possession of child pornography. St. Helens officers immediately initiated an investigation which resulted in a search warrant being executed at Reynolds’ residence on April 1, 2025. Multiple items of evidence were seized during the search. Officers continued their investigation and obtained an additional search warrant authorizing the analysis of digital devices that were seized.

St. Helens detectives completed their investigation and forwarded their reports to the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office who presented the information to a Columbia County grand jury.
