Meet New Police Chief at Lemonade with the Law
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 16, 2018
St. Helens, Ore. – The St. Helens community is invited to a special Lemonade with the Law on Tuesday, August 28 from 6-8 p.m. at the St. Helens Burgerville. Newly sworn-in St. Helens Police Chief Brian Greenway will be at the event for his first meet and greet with the community.
Join your neighbors and bring your kids for free lemonade and conversation with Chief Greenway and other St. Helens Police Department officers. There is no agenda, speeches, or specific topics for the evening. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions, discuss issues, and get to know the new police chief and St. Helens officers in a relaxed setting.
Free lemonade will be provided courtesy of Burgerville and officers will have stickers and other handouts for kids that attend the event. Burgerville is located at 715 S. Columbia River Highway.
Lemonade with the Law is inspired by Coffee with a Cop, a national movement that was launched in California in 2011. The goal of these events is to provide access and opportunity for distraction-free conversations with local police officers.
