Body Found in St. Helens Creek
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 25, 2019
ST. HELENS, OR – On Tuesday, September 24, at approximately 1:58 p.m., St. Helens officers responded to a report of a body found in McNulty Creek near Firlok Park Boulevard and Highway 30. When officers arrived on scene, they found a severely decomposed body in the creek.
Based on the preliminary investigation at the scene, no foul play is suspected. The body appears to be the remains of an adult male. There was no identification found near the body.
The remains have been sent to the coroner for examination.
St. Helens Police Department was assisted on the scene by Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
