About the St. Helens Police Department
The St. Helens Police Department is a progressive and proactive law enforcement agency with an emphasis on its service to the community. We have received a 90% community approval rating over the last two years for our policing services.
The St. Helens Police Department has a staff of 21 sworn officers, two support staff members, and a code enforcement officer. Our staff enjoys work assignments in patrol, investigations, and canine. We offer a very competitive salary package that includes a lateral signing bonus, excellent retirement benefits, and certification and physical fitness incentive pay.
The St. Helens Police Department is currently in the process of locating property to build a modern public safety facility that will house the police department and possibly municipal court services. The new facility will meet policing best practices, provide room for future growth, and increase the security of our officers.
We are looking for talented individuals who are committed to the law enforcement profession and service to their community. If a rewarding career in law enforcement is appealing to you, we hope that you'll consider applying with us.
