City Welcomes New Communications Assistant
The City of St. Helens is happy to welcome Cameron Burkhart to the City’s Communications team. You may recognize Cameron from the St. Helens Public Library, and now you’ll also get to see some of their handiwork behind-the-scenes as a Communications Assistant for the City.
Cameron started working for St. Helens as a Library Assistant at the St. Helens Public Library in March of 2018. They also recently began working as a Communications Assistant. Before working for the City, Cameron received their bachelor’s degree in creative writing from the State University of New York at New Paltz and worked as a freelance writer and content creator for several years.
When not sitting near a book or keyboard for work, Cameron is often sitting near a book or keyboard for fun. They share their love for unusual art, strange music, and bad movies with their partner and their pets, Roo the dog and Larry the cat.
Cameron will continue to work as a Library Assistant, so stop by the St. Helens Public Library and say "hello" during curbside pickup!
